MARTIAN SPACESHIP
First off is the Martian Spaceship, long story behind this one, I took inspiration from various sources on the internet and decided to design my own, mainly the construction technique. It is totally made out of Depron, a very light rigid foam. Powered by a small electric motor and radio control on the rudder and two elevons (dual mix of elevator and ailerons). It has flown a couple of times, it looks crazy in flight and looks as though it shouldn't do. Don't ask me about the technical aerodynamics, it's out of this world!

HELICOPTER
I always said NO helicopters, they are not 'natural' but early 2023 I succumbed and got the OMPHobby M1 helicopter, absolute devil to learn how to fly (gyros turned off of course). It only has a 290mm rotor diameter and weighs just 118g so is very light. Beautifully made with direct drive on main and tail rotors cuts down on wear and tear etc on usual belts and gears, obviously not used here. I think it would be easier to fly if I had a bigger copter with a greater mass but lets see how I get on with this, early days yet.
